It is one of my favorite dishes. For frying you need 3 cups of oils, one cup flour, one teaspoon baking powder, half teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon white sugar, one egg, half cup milk, one tablespoon melted shortening and 12 oz. of drained kernel corn.

Heat up oil up to the temperature of 365F. Mix flour with salt, baking powder, and sugar in a medium size bowl. Now blend milk, egg and melted shortening and beat into flour mixture. Merge the whole mixture in the corn kernels. Drop dissipated batter by spoon into the hot oil,and fry up until it takes golden color. Sap on paper towels. The scrumptious Corn Fitter is ready to be served.
