Sony Unveils New Xperia Phones

Few days back, Sony unveils its lineup for expo. The company has announced three new smartphones along with tablet under the Xperia line. Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J are built on arc design and there are no surprises that Android Ice Cream Sandwich powers them all.

According to Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai it was the step taken by the company to help accelerate Sony’s turnaround. He further said that company cannot stand stationary and Sony is always committed to boost up its turnaround and business growth.

From the specification perspective, the most impressive of all three smartphones is Xperia T with a 4.6 inch display and resolution of 1280*720 pixels and 1.5 GHz dual core processor. Adding more to its beauty Xperia T comes with 13 megapixel camera and android 4.0 ice cream sandwich.

The Xperia V features looks similar to the Xperia T but comes in with slightly smaller screen of 4.3 inch display. Whereas Xperia J is more of an economical phone that comes along with 5 megapixel camera and 1 GHz single core processor.

The first tablet launched by Sony under the Xperia line is Xperia S that comes in with 9.4 inch display with resolution of 1280*800 pixels. 1 GB of RAM and a Tegra 3 quad-core 1.4 GHz processor can’t let this device to slow down and lag while working. The tablet is expected to release on September 7th and Sony is taking the orders for the device immediately.

    Sony is my most favorite brand. I pre ordered the sony’s Xperia Sola and still using it without any problems. Now I think I should go for one of these smartphones.
