Top Watches to buy in 2012

Breitling Superocean

The original personifications of the Superocean were launched by Swiss watchmaker Breitling, in 1957. Today, Breitling has again restored their ultra tough marine showpiece. This watch is water resistant to 1,500 meters and features a sapphire crystal glare-proof casing. It is available in black, silver, red, blue or yellow dials, with either a rubber strap or ‘ocean racer’ steel.

Graham Mercedes GP Trackmaster

This watch was launched earlier this year to celebrate the venture between Graham and the Mercedes GP Petronas F1 Team. The GP Trackmaster comes with a rubber tyre-detail strap and is water resistant to 100m. It has a fixed bezel, an automatic movement and a beautiful start/stop lever and reset buttons.

Breitling Navitimer

Launched in 1952, this was Breitling’s first ever timepiece. The company says that its circular slide rule allows the wearer to perform all airborne navigation calculations.

Omega Speedmaster

Supported by the team of Apollo 11 and of every NASA space flight since then, the Omega Speedmaster was the first watch on the moon. In the past fifty years, it had only nominal updates from the original steel-bodied Speedmaster.

Graham Swordfish Booster

If you want something massive, you don’t have to look further than the Swordfish Booster. Its over-sized dials count 30 minutes and twelve hours separately from the main face, which is sheltered by steel and sapphire crystal. This whole thing is held on the wrist by a rubber or crocodile leather strap.
